As described by a former colleague, "Jeff has extensive computer knowledge, the likes of which I've rarely seen matched, and a great design sense."
Jeff was graduated from Oregon State University in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and then earned his master of arts degree in creative writing and literature from Hollins College in Virginia in 1989. He then completed some postgraduate work in artificial intelligence at Harvard.
His diverse work history includes using TeX to prepare long and short technical manuscripts and grant proposals for Harvard University's Division of Applied Science, founding a boutique design firm in New York City, and serving an apprenticeship as a donut baker.
In 2005, Jeff became lead programmer at Arteric, where his expertise in open source development and information design helped produce award-winning Web applications. His extensive knowledge and experience include developing custom applications using Joomla! CMS, MODx CMS, Zend Framework, and JQuery. Jeff is responsible for the development of enterprise applications for clients such as Novartis Oncology, Pfizer, Essex Technologies, Teva Respiratory, Altana, Bering Air, Janssen, and many others.
His professional associations include Zend Certified Engineers and the New York PHP Community. Jeff enjoys spending most of his free time riding his motorcycle to BBQ joints.
